Mary Golda Ross pulls off the upset of the decade! With a win over SE, MGR moves to the semi-finals for the first time in school history. Previously SE has played in the last 5 championship games. NOBODY thought that MGR could beat the mighty Spartans. The Lady Rockets had plans to do the very thing no one thought could be done. Juliet Nyguen proved to be to much for the Spartans. She delivered 16 aces that marks a career high and a team record for aces in a game. The Lady Rockets were all over the court making play after play. The Lady Rockets DOMINATED SE winning the game 2-0.

With this win, the Lady Rockets becomes just the third sport in school history to reach the semi-finals.
