Coach Mathewson is entering his 5th year as a coach at Mary Golda Ross Middle School. Since the "Pathway to Greatness" Merger, MGR has been a middle school for 5 years. Coach Mathewson has been on staff for all 5 years. He also was a coach here when the school was named Jackson Elementary. Coach Mathewson serves as our Head Wrestling Coach, Head Coach for Cross Country, and ast football coach. Coach Mathewson brings over 30 years of coaching experience to our programs. Under Coach Mathewson, our wrestling program has seen 5 all conference winners as well as a 3rd place team finish (2022).
